Summer Whites With a Touch of Blue

What a beautiful day it was for Elise and Larry on June 4 in Pascagoula! They celebrated their wedding mass at Our Lady of Victories followed by a beautiful reception at The Grand Magnolia Ballroom. Working with their talented wedding planners, Janell and Kassie at Magnolia Bride, Elise perfected the classic white wedding look she envisioned - with just a touch of blue.

For her bouquet, we used gorgeous white peonies, moonstone roses, blue hydrangeas, white ranunculus and lisianthus with a few white scabiosa to add some texture and wrapped it with a dusty blue organza. Her maids kept it simple but stunning with white moonstone roses and a touch of blue thistle.

The altar was anchored by two pedestals with tall, full arrangements of white and blue hydrangeas, more moonstone roses, white stock, and gorgeous dark greens. These lush arrangements were moved to the Grand Magnolia to match two more tall arrangements to give the room a little additional height.

Elise wanted head tables to flank either side of the stage and had a vision of long line of simple bud vases with florals and candles to create a center runner. We alternated anemones, ranunculus, lisianthus and moonstone roses - all whites - and added in candles and smilax. More smilax was strung in the chandelier to tie all of the greenery together including the greens with candles on the other guest tables.

For her photo backdrop, Elise had a boxwood hedge wall made, and we anchored floral sprays to accent her special newlywed neon sign - a perfect spot for fun remembrance shots of the evening.

Congratulations to the Sissons! Most of these beautiful photo are courtesy of my friends at Bluewaters Photography.
